French Polynesia President Gaston Tong Sang met Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, a member of the Saudi Royal Family, Monday afternoon in Papeete.

Tong Sang and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal talked about possible investments in French Polynesia.

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal said he enjoyed his stay in Bora Bora, Leeward Islands.

He also told reporters he might be interested in building new hotels in Bora Bora.

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, along with Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, has shares in the Four Seasons company.

The member of the Saudi Royal Family came for a short visit in French Polynesia with his own plane. It was his second visit in Tahiti and Her Islands.

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, 55, is the nephew of the Saudi Arabian King Abdullah.

He is often described as a real entrepreneur and as an important international investor.

He has amassed a fortune through investments in real estate and the stock market.

As of March 2010, his net worth is estimated at US$19.4 billion, according to the US magazine Forbes.

This makes him the 19th richest person in the world on the list Forbes published last March.

Al-Waleed reportedly owns several aircraft, all converted for private use, and an 86-meter yacht.
